Fascinées par la personnalité si particulière du pianiste Alex Theus, deux jeunes lausannoises ont décidé de lui consacrer un portait sensible, entre déambulations et confidences. Un vrai petit road movie, à pied sur le pavé lausannois.

Figure incontournable de la scène jazz de Suisse romande, autodidacte et improvisateur averti, Alex Theus a enseigné à l'EJMA pendant de nombreuses années, a été membre de Piano Seven à ses débuts et a fondé le groupe Ya pas de mal à quoi, aux côtés de Léon Francioli et Daniel Bourquin. Un tout grand musicien que nous nous faisons une joie d'accueillir au CityClub pour un concert exceptionnel, en solo

On ne vient pas seulement écouter, on vient surtout voir Melingo, cet ancien punk, puis présentateur de télé et tangero argentin, mis sur le devant de la scène en 2004 par le label Mañana du Gotan Project. La classe incarnée, un vrai conteur, qui propose la plus belle musique du monde. Pour faire vite, on dirait que Melingo est un peu le Tom Waits du tango. Absolument immanquable.
