Les musiciens de l’HEMU s’approprient les compositions du disque « Do like Eddie » du guitariste américain John Scofield, célèbre pour son éclectisme musical et ses folles improvisations. Un bon mélange de sonorités jazz, funk et des rythmiques de la Nouvelle-Orléans qui illustre la rencontre marquante de Scofield avec le mythique saxophoniste Eddie Harris.

Rooster est un groupe de funk-fusion dont les influences vont de Vulfpeck à Snarky Puppy en passant par Tower of Power. Ce sextet dirigé par le claviériste Natan Niddam vous offre un set électrique, frais et groovy, dans l’unique et louable but de vous faire taper du pied et hocher la tête.

Le phénomène Paris Monster cumule le génie du virtuose Josh Dion qui chante, joue du clavier et de la batterie en même temps et du bassiste Geoff Kraly un geek des effets analogiques. La puissance de feu du monstre passe par des rythmes rock et groovy, des claviers 70’s distordus et des envolées psychédéliques à la Jack White. Mieux vaut être bien accroché à son siège.
